Location based micro-blogging is gaining momentum with Google unveiling Google Latitude, the latest on location-awareness / microblogging front. In November Nokia released Nokia Friend View and in December proclaimed at Nokia World that their strategy is to coordinate peoples lives and have images of people showing up on maps.

We often find ourselves being asked what we exactly do. Since we do not manufacture a product, have our own visible service or do anything tangible you can see or feel, this is quite a reasonable question. The only way to understand what we do probably is to see what we have done. This is when the idea came up to create a small booklet that would help people understand what we do and who we are.

BBC iPlayer - a retrospective

Yet again Fjord's efforts bore fruit at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona when the BBC iPlayer service won Best Mobile Music or Video Service.
