The annual DMY Berlin is an international design network for contemporary product design where both renowned and young, experimental designers launch new products, prototypes and foresighted projects. As it reflects current topics of contemporary design and reveals future design trends, the DMY Berlin is an appropriate platform for Fjord to share both insights into future digital trends in general as well as information about our work in particular.
In our Berlin office, we welcomed over 80 interested people to receive an impression of our work. During a casual get-together, they had the opportunity to chat with our team over snacks and drinks and listen to three main and several mini presentations.
Service design director Norbert Kurz and senior strategist Louisa Heinrich described how Fjord works with clients effectively by initiating transformation rather than piecemental change. Interaction designer Manuel Grossmann and Louise Brogan explained the Fjord Rumble, a special creative working method. Program director Tom Plaggenmeier finished the main presentation series by showcasing examples from some of Fjords international mobile and media projects.
The guests also engaged in Fjord’s mini presentations to learn more about digital trends, further agency projects and Fjord as an employer.
We thank all participants for the many inspiring conversations and new suggestions and are already looking forward to our next Open House event.
