The D&AD Awards are one of the most senior and respected honors that anyone working within the creative, art, design and advertising communities can receive. Created by a premium group of designers and art directors half a century ago, the D&AD Awards have evolved to become the world’s biggest non-for-profit awards scheme.
The “Pencil” awards, a pinnacle of creative achievement, share quite a few values with Fjord, as they represent a celebration of excellence, brilliance, inspiration and transcendence. This is why our very own Andy Goodman, Group Director of Fjord Madrid, immediately felt a strong connection when he was called to be a judge for this years’ awards.
Andy is now at London’s iconic Olympia Exhibition Centre gathering with some of the international creative communities’ highest profile members. In particular, he’s part of the jury who will decide which project deserves the 2014 White Pencil, launched by D&AD two years ago to reward creativity for social good.
His task is to determine which of this year’s entries shows the capacity to truly change behaviour towards social and environmental issues.
