For the past seven years Fjordians from all over the world have travelled to Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona to get inspired, peek into the future, share insights, and build new and existing relationships.
This year, for the second time, MWC was held in Barcelona’s giant conference centre Fira Gran Via, and it seemed bigger than ever with double digit miles walked every day, and a new discovery around every corner.
Fjord occupied it’s own stand in Hall 5, where Shelley Evenson, was joined by Zeynep Falay von Flittner and Lalao Rakotoniaina to live workshop and bring to life the Service Design methodology.
The main themes from the wider conference that Fjord picked out during the conference this year was the Connected Car, Wearables and Samsung, who dominated the mobile space.
A lot of the things we saw this year were to be expected, but thankfully there were quite a few (nice) surprises too, including, Ericsson’s connected lamppost.
You can see a full summary of Fjord’s highlights from #MWC14 below.
