Fjord nominated for Svenska Designpriset

Fjord’s work with 3 in Sweden and Denmark for the Mitt3 app has been shortlisted in the “device” category of Svenska Designpriset, but in order to win we need your votes.

Fjord and mobile operator 3 wanted to give customers control over how they used their mobile phone without drowning them in numbers and data.

Daniel Freeman, Service Design Director, at Fjord Stockholm, said:

“The key to success has been to consider the challenges both for the consumer and the company. Through service design, we have managed to turn the phone bill from a headache to a channel for engagement, with simple visualisations giving the user an overview of usage and costs.

“The app has caught the attention of media worldwide, but not least by 3’s customers that have given it top scores on the App Store and Google Play.”

Mitt3 is an app for iPhone and Android that makes it possible for the customer to understand their phone bill by viewing statistics on calls, messages and data usage, directly from their smartphone, in an easy and transparent way.
