Fjord puts down roots in Latin America

March 3rd marks an exciting day for Fjord (design and innovation from Accenture Interactive), as we welcome our new colleagues from INSITUM. Following acquisition, we’re proud to bring Latin America’s leading strategic innovation consulting firm into our fold, blending their passionate, talented teams with ours. We have a huge amount in common with our new colleagues, chief among which is an unerring passion for life-centered design.

Alongside our new Fjord studio in Costa Rica, this collaboration further strengthens Fjord’s presence in Latin America, a rapidly growing market for design and innovation services. We now have more than 200 designers, social sciences professionals and business specialists in studios in Mexico City, Bogotá, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Lima and Costa Rica.

Positive impact

Fjord’s objective remains unwavering as we work together and use the power of design to create truly positive impact for people and organizations across the world, making it our business to understand their needs and exceed their expectations. Across all of Accenture Interactive, our mission is to re-imagine how clients interact with their customers, employees and communities, rethinking every experience based on what technology now makes possible.

Building our LATAM presence broadens our scope of offering, and enables us to mine business and human insights in the region for clients looking to create innovations that will make a positive impact in LATAM.

Who’s Insitum?

Recognized by Fast Company as one of the most innovative companies in Latin America, INSITUM works with strategic research, service design, digital strategy, organizational innovation, product definition and brand strategy, adding value to companies and organizations. In their own words, “We design solutions for growth and transformation through a deep understanding of human behavior.”

INSITUM, just like Fjord, has built its reputation by striving to make lives better – and now we get to do it together.
