Join Fjord at the London Design Festival

The London Design Festival, 17-25 September, is a citywide celebration that brings together a global community of designers, artists, architects, and retailers to activate projects responding to the transformative power of design.

This year over 400 events and installations will take place as part of the London Design Festival. From an engaging programme at the Victoria and Albert Museum to large scale installations in public spaces across the city, these interventions reflect the stimulating diversity of creative thinking, and are all united in their ability to inspire, entertain and arouse curiosity.

Join Fjord London on September 21st and 22nd to celebrate the best Buzzwords of 2016.

Each year Fjord predicts trends impacting design, business and the world around us. This year’s technology trends – or buzzwords – include chatbots, virtual and augmented reality, and drones. Our interactive event will look at these technologies to understand how designers can use them to impact daily life, and their core purpose when applied in the proper context.

The team will create an interactive exhibition for visitors to explore and get involved with, and on the 22nd we will host a real life gameshow exploring how buzzwords can be used to our advantage.

Wednesday 21st September 6.30pm-9pm:

Interactive exhibition and workshops.

Buzzwords are commonplace in design studios. We are forever envisioning impactful change or revolutionising the sharing economy. But why does the design industry revert to these ways of describing our work?

On Wednesday 21st September Fjord and the London Design Festival will be celebrating the value, diversity and delight of buzzwords in design. Drop by for a look at what we believe is the future of design buzzwords and meet some of the Fjord team.

Thursday 22nd September 6.30pm-9pm:

Interactive exhibition and Imaginarium of Buzzwords gameshow.

Buzzwords are commonplace in design studios. We are forever envisioning impactful change or revolutionising the sharing economy. But what happens when a group of designers are put on the spot and challenged to use buzzwords for good?

On Thursday 22nd September Fjord and the London Design Festival will be celebrating the value, diversity and delight of buzzwords in design. Join us at 6.30pm for the worlds first Design Buzzword gameshow. Watch as we put designers to the test and challenge  their knowledge of design buzzwords.

We look forward to welcoming exiting panellists:
