Madrid’s Kitchen talks: a video summary

At Fjord Madrid’s “Glimpse into the Future of Health” event, three outstanding speakers helped us explore health and healthcare innovation in the coming decades through a mix of disciplines including Biomedicine, Bionics, Nanotechnology and Service Design.

We posted a summary of the event just a few days ago, but wanted to share with you a new video which shows the highlights of the talks offered by Aubrey de Grey, SENS Research Foundation Chief Science Officer; Beppe Battaglia, Professor Of Molecular Bionics at the University College London and Lorna Ross, Director of Design at Mayo Clinic Center for Innovation.

We learnt, among a myriad of other things, that our lifespan could eventually not be dependent on how long ago we were born; that completely personalized medicine is not far from being a reality; and that Service Design can help health and the healthcare community move forward and take decisions without fearing the unknown.

Enjoy! 🙂

P.S. The full talks are also available on our Vimeo channel, and you can also read about it on the Yorokobu website.
