Group Director, Stockholm
Being the Group Director for Fjord Stockholm, Daniel works at the crossroads of design, technology and business. He is inspired by the opportunity to push boundaries, loves solving (nearly) impossible problems and partaking in major transformations of digital services.
With 15 years of experience, Daniel has led strategy, business design and launch activities for customers worldwide. At Fjord, Daniel has been involved with design engagements with 3, Expressen, Telia Sonera, Verifone, Samsung and Nokia with a focus on business innovation, strategy, service design leadership and concept creation.
With a keen focus on driving hands-on innovation and an appreciation for industry business reality, Daniel has worked on numerous pioneer solutions in the digital music, news and TV domains including Napster music and CNN mobile. Daniel has extensive experience exploring new business models, leading service launches as well as driving innovation activities across payments, rich media, communication, location and advertising domains.
Daniel is also co-author to a book illustrating the challenges and realities of the mobile industry entitled “Mobile Media and Applications, from Concept to Cash” – a category best seller on Amazon.
Daniel was born in England, and grew up in Australia. He now lives in Sweden, where he has been a key player in successfully expanding the Fjord studio over the last three years, to be a strong multinational team of over 30 designers working on a multitude of engaging projects with fantastic clients. When Daniel is not transforming digital services, he enjoys the outdoors, the sun and snow and follows Aussie Rules Football.
