Regional Business Development Director, Fjord West
A 20-year digital veteran, Steve has spent his career delivering world-class design and innovation services to brands all over the world. Now as Fjord’s Managing Director of Strategic Accounts, he is responsible for championing design to drive key growth initiatives for Fjord’s largest and most innovative customers. Steve will also be tasked with bundling Fjord and Accenture Interactive’s design and innovation capabilities to shape end-to-end digital transformation initiatives for clients across the entire Accenture ecosystem.
Before joining Fjord, Steve held senior positions with R/GA. He served as the managing director of R/GA’s San Francisco office, where he tripled its size and grew relationships with some of the firm’s most innovative and award-winning clients, such as Samsung, Nike, Airbnb and Google. In 2013, he opened R/GA’s Los Angeles office, which grew to be the global lead for its relationship with Beats by Dre. Prior to R/GA, Steve ran frog design’s San Francisco studio (and global headquarters), and held several key digital leadership roles with the Publicis Groupe in Chicago.
Steve has an MBA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. He’s the family chef, an avid and sometimes-hazardous trail runner, a retired middle school girls basketball coach, and a tireless fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs.
