UI/UX Interaction Design Lead

UX/UI Interaction Design Lead Responsibilities:

  • Design for a variety of projects under the guidance of the Design Directors
  • Design and execute user research programs
  • Create clear Web and digital experiences for primarily government clients
  • Work closely with both external clients and internal, cross-functional teams on projects that range from a few weeks to a few months in length
  • Mentor all design team members and encourage their growth and creative development
  • Take a day-to-day management role of the designers assigned as direct reports.
  • Provide feedback on design team for mid-year and year end reviews, including opportunities for their creative development and improvement of technical capabilities
  • Identify new tools and processes to help evolve the capabilities of the team

What You Have (Basic Qualifications):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience delivering interface design solutions for various clients, including highly detailed annotated wireframes and user flows within complex web or mobile applications
  • An intimate relationship with Adobe Creative Suite and Rapid prototyping tools like Axure or Basalmiq
  • Experience conducting user research using a variety of research tools and techniques
  • Experience leading/managing others on a team
  • Strong client communication skills
  • Experience developing rapid prototypes
  • Formal training/certifications in graphic design, visual communication or related fields
  • Salesforce experience highly preferred


An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
